Hedgepit terms of service

Effective 2026-05-22. These terms govern your access to and use of the Hedgepit interface operated by Hedgepit Labs ("we", "us", "our").

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Hedgepit interface at hedgepit.com (the "Interface"), connecting a wallet, or otherwise interacting with the Hedgepit application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not access or use the Interface.

These Terms incorporate by reference the Privacy Policy. Together they form the entire agreement between you and Hedgepit Labs regarding the Interface.

2. Eligibility and geographic restrictions

By using the Interface you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • You are not a United States person, and you are not located in, resident in, or accessing the Interface from the United States, Iran, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea), Syria, Cuba, the Crimea, Donetsk, or Luhansk regions, or any other jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions by the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, or the United Nations (each, a "Restricted Jurisdiction").
  • You are not listed on, owned or controlled by a party listed on, or acting on behalf of a party listed on the U.S. Treasury's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN), the UK's HM Treasury Consolidated List, the EU Consolidated List, or any equivalent sanctions list (collectively, "Sanctions Lists").
  • Your access to and use of the Interface complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including those relating to derivatives, commodities, event-contract trading, money transmission, and tax.
  • You have not been previously banned or suspended from the Interface.

We operate an IP-based geographic filter at the edge to block requests originating from Restricted Jurisdictions. The filter is a defensive measure and not a complete control; you remain responsible for your representations regardless of whether the filter is applied to you.

3. The Interface

Hedgepit is a non-custodial, web-based interface that allows users to interact with the Hyperliquid protocol, a permissionless decentralized perpetual futures and event contract protocol. The Interface enables users to construct orders and hedge strategies, view market data sourced from Hyperliquid, and submit signed transactions to the Hyperliquid protocol.

Hedgepit Labs does not:

  • Hold, custody, or control user funds at any time;
  • Hold or have access to user private keys, seed phrases, or agent-wallet keys;
  • Operate the Hyperliquid protocol or any validator;
  • Act as a broker, dealer, futures commission merchant, exchange, clearing organization, or money transmitter;
  • Guarantee the performance, availability, or integrity of the Hyperliquid protocol;
  • Provide investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice.

All trading and protocol interactions occur directly between your wallet (or an agent wallet you control) and the Hyperliquid protocol. Hedgepit Labs is not a party to any trade, settlement, or transfer that you initiate through the Interface.

4. Wallet attestation and records

When you connect a wallet to the Interface for the first time (or after these Terms are materially updated), you will be asked to confirm the eligibility statements in Section 2. Upon your confirmation we record a timestamped attestation row containing your wallet address, the version of the Terms shown to you, your IP-derived country, and the user-agent string of your browser. We do not store the IP address itself. See the Privacy Policy for details.

You agree that this attestation is binding on you with respect to the version of these Terms in effect at the time of attestation. We may rely on the attestation as evidence of your agreement to those Terms.

5. Trading risks

Trading derivatives, perpetual futures, and event contracts on Hyperliquid carries substantial risk. By using the Interface you acknowledge and accept that, without limitation:

  • Total loss is possible. Perpetual futures and event contracts are leveraged products. You can lose the entire amount of margin posted, and in some configurations more. Outcome contracts may settle adversely to your position, resulting in total loss of funds committed to that position.
  • Liquidation risk. Adverse price movement against a leveraged position may result in automatic liquidation of your collateral by the protocol. Hedgepit does not guarantee any particular liquidation price or timing.
  • Protocol risk. The Hyperliquid protocol is permissionless software that may contain bugs, design flaws, or vulnerabilities. Validator misbehavior, network congestion, oracle failure, or chain reorganization may cause loss of funds. Hedgepit has no control over and accepts no responsibility for these events.
  • Market risk. Markets may be illiquid, volatile, manipulated, or suspended. Prices shown by the Interface may not reflect the price at which an order is actually filled.
  • Smart contract risk. Hyperliquid uses smart contracts on HyperEVM and HyperCore. Bridging, deposits, and withdrawals carry the risk that contracts may behave unexpectedly, become inaccessible, or be exploited.
  • Wallet and key risk. Loss, theft, or compromise of your wallet keys or agent-wallet keys may result in irreversible loss of funds. You are solely responsible for the security of your devices and keys.
  • Validator-deployed market risk. HIP-4 outcome markets may be deployed, modified, or delisted by Hyperliquid validators. Markets may settle against your position based on resolution data sources you have not independently verified.
  • Regulatory risk. The regulatory treatment of derivatives, event contracts, and the Hyperliquid protocol is evolving and may change without notice in your jurisdiction.
  • Tax risk. Gains and losses from trading may be subject to tax. You are solely responsible for determining and discharging your tax obligations.
  • Builder code fees. Orders submitted through the Interface attach a builder code that may entitle Hedgepit Labs to receive a builder fee from the Hyperliquid protocol on certain transactions. The current builder-fee ceiling is disclosed in the Interface's order-pad agent-setup flow.

You should not commit funds to the Interface or the Hyperliquid protocol that you cannot afford to lose entirely.

6. No advice

Nothing on the Interface — including market data, suggested hedge constructions, payoff visualisations, risk-band calculators, position summaries, or any other tool — is investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or any other form of professional advice. All such tools are informational only. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any transaction in light of your own circumstances, and for obtaining independent professional advice where appropriate.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Interface in violation of any applicable law, sanctions, or regulation;
  • Use the Interface to engage in market manipulation, wash trading, spoofing, layering, front-running, or any other conduct that would be prohibited on a regulated market;
  • Use the Interface to launder funds, finance terrorism, evade sanctions, or commit any other financial crime;
  • Use the Interface on behalf of any party that is itself prohibited from using it under these Terms;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Interface or its infrastructure without prior written authorisation;
  • Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar) to access the Interface in a manner that imposes an unreasonable load on its infrastructure, except for ordinary RPC and trading-API use;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Interface except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
  • Use the Interface to interact with markets, instruments, or assets that are restricted in your jurisdiction.

8. Intellectual property; licence

The Interface and its content (other than user-submitted content and open-source components governed by their own licences) are owned by Hedgepit Labs or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Hedgepit Labs grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Interface for your own non-commercial use. No other rights are granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

9. Third-party services

The Interface relies on third-party services that we do not control, including:

  • The Hyperliquid L1 and HyperEVM protocols and their validators;
  • Wallet providers (browser extensions, mobile wallets, embedded-wallet SDKs);
  • RPC providers and indexers;
  • Hosting and edge networks;
  • Analytics, monitoring, and infrastructure providers used to operate the Interface.

Your use of these third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We make no representation or warranty as to any third-party service and accept no responsibility for their availability, accuracy, or behaviour.

10. Disclaimers

The interface is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, or freedom from error or malicious code.

Hedgepit Labs does not warrant that the Interface will meet your requirements, that any defects will be corrected, that the Interface will be available at any particular time or location, that the Interface will be secure, or that any market data or computed value displayed on the Interface is accurate, current, or free of error.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Hedgepit Labs, its affiliates, or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, business opportunity, or digital assets, however caused and under any theory of liability (whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise), even if Hedgepit Labs has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In all events, the aggregate liability of Hedgepit Labs to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Interface will not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred US dollars (US$100), or (b) the aggregate builder fees actually retained by Hedgepit Labs from your trading activity through the Interface during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hedgepit Labs, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your access to or use of the Interface, (b) your breach of these Terms, (c) your breach of any representation, warranty, or covenant made by you in the wallet attestation, (d) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (e) any trade, transfer, or transaction you submit through the Interface.

13. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time by publishing a new version at this page and bumping the version identifier. Material changes will trigger a re-attestation prompt the next time you connect your wallet. Your continued use of the Interface after a modification becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Interface, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. We may also restrict access from particular jurisdictions, networks, IP ranges, or wallet addresses. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including without limitation Sections 5, 10, 11, 12, 15, and 16) will survive.

15. Governing law; disputes

These Terms are governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of Swedish law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Interface ("Dispute") will be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) under its rules then in effect. The arbitration will be conducted in the English language. The arbitral award will be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

You and Hedgepit Labs agree that any Dispute will be brought in your individual capacity only, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator will not have authority to combine or aggregate claims.

16. Miscellaneous

These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and Hedgepit Labsrelating to the Interface. If any provision is held unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. No waiver of any term will be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them freely.
